Joshua began his automotive career in dealership environments, where precision, accountability, and manufacturer standards are mandatory — not optional. Over the past decade, he has worked extensively in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram (CDJR) dealership settings, gaining deep experience with modern vehicle systems and manufacturer-specific diagnostics.

My Story

I didn’t grow up wanting to “own an auto shop.”
I grew up wanting to do things right.

From an early age, I was surrounded by small business ownership. Both of my parents were self-employed by the age of 21, and watching them build something from the ground up taught me what discipline, sacrifice, and accountability really look like. I saw the long hours, the setbacks, and the pride that comes from standing behind your work—even when it’s hard.

That mindset stuck with me.

I entered this industry the hard way—on the shop floor, turning wrenches, dealing with rushed jobs, shortcuts, and customers who didn’t always get the truth. Over time, I saw a pattern: too many shops prioritize speed and sales over honesty and craftsmanship. That never sat right with me.

So I decided to build something different.

Where It Started

In high school, I joined the FFA program, where I worked and saved enough money to buy my first truck—a 1996 Ford F-150. Like most older vehicles, it had problems. While working a minimum-wage job at Carl’s Jr., I couldn’t afford to take it to a repair shop, so I did what most people don’t—I learned how to fix it myself.

That necessity turned into obsession.

I began researching repairs, learning vehicle systems, and enrolled in the automotive program throughout high school, building a foundation in modern automotive technology. My interests naturally leaned toward engine performance, off-road capability, diagnostics, and electrical systems—the areas where real understanding matters most.

Training, Dealerships, and the Real World

To take my skills further, I attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas, where I focused heavily on diagnostics, workmanship, and real-world problem solving.

While completing the MOPAR CAP Program, I worked at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in San Antonio, TX, gaining hands-on experience inspecting vehicles, performing recalls, and maintaining both customer and fleet vehicles to strict manufacturer standards.

After one year, I advanced to a shop helper role—doing whatever it took to learn. Early mornings. Late nights. Any job that put knowledge in my hands. My goal was clear: become a full-line main shop service technician, not someone who just replaces parts.

After successfully completing the MOPAR CAP Program and earning factory certifications, I was promoted to a full-time Service Technician.

Over the next 10+ years, I worked in dealership environments and fleet settings, diagnosing and repairing everything from daily drivers to work trucks and commercial vehicles—where downtime isn’t acceptable and mistakes cost real money.
